Fascia is connective tissue in your body, that covers every bone, muscle, tendon, ligament, nerve, organ and cell, from tip to toe! It is one continuous piece of tissue, which is why sometimes when we hurt a body part, the pain or dysfunction shows up somewhere seemingly completely different! For example low back pain appears after the restriction has already taken hold in your fascial system.
Fascial restrictions show up when the fascia becomes stuck in dysfunctional patterns, due to among others: poor posture, injury, trauma (physical and emotional) as pain or with repetitive movements in our day to day lives. Using a combination of hands on techniques, both on the table and on the matt for re-movement education, incorporating therapy balls or foam rollers, come learn how to release pain and strain and restore functional movement to your body. This is a gentle session, with profound and long sustaining results. Treatments on the massage table are done in shorts and a t-shirt.

Emer is truly a gifted healer. She is the best health practitioner I've ever had the pleasure of receiving such helpful treatments from and have greatly improved my health since I started attending her sessions in October 2021. I highly recommend Emer.

I had my initial exam yesterday and it may have been the first time in 3 years I slept through my alarm. Generally i toss and turn and wake up every hour in anticipation of the alarm going off. Emer is attentive, brilliant and careful to get to the core of an individual’s needs. Highly recommended!
